My heart is wired to help others see their potential.
In a nutshell.
I am an explorer, a visionary, a romantic, a rebel. A lover of people and relationships. I am not afraid to ask the hard questions, and I thrive in a challenge. I am bubbly, intense, encouraging and nurturing. My coaching was born when I dusted off years of my abandoned, shamed and discounted dreams. My heart is wired to help others see their potential and to awaken the vital pieces in them that lay dormant.
The Pieces & Parts that Make Me Whole
Confidence beyond faith in the Goodness that has set me free from a life once full of confusion and chaos. Rejoicing in grace and embracing Love beyond my comprehension. Radiating this Love, grace and freedom through the abundant overflow in my heart.
My beloved, who has taught me that vulnerability is an act of courage not weakness and silliness is a proper prescription for almost everything negative. Our marriage is my greatest honor and joy.
Our radiant son, whose gentle spirit and mightiness remind me everyday to seek the miracles that wait in joyous expectation to be discovered, celebrated and shared. Parenthood is treasures buried in jars of clay.
Laughter, so much laughter and lots of smiling.
Connecting with people - knowing the ins and outs of a person’s heart and what drives them. Hearing about people’s passions, dreams and desires.
Writing and story telling. I am a storyteller at heart. Stories are passageways to discovery, truth and growth.
Pursuing my own passions, dreams and desires.
Playing and adventuring in our backyard, the PNW. Whatever the day calls for, I’m in. Waters. Trails. Forests. And Slopes. I want to explore it all.

Why I Coach
I started my coaching journey as a trainer, in 2010. After my first three years, I was heartbroken and exhausted. My clients hired me because they felt depressed, apathetic, angry, confused, restless, exhausted, burnt out, empty. Their bodies, marriages, jobs, lives, mental states were breaking at the seams. They lived life passionless and couldn’t remember the last time they lived abundantly, felt at peace or were full of joy.
I was putting bandaids on life-threatening wounds which were exacerbated by their temporary fixes comprised of a desire for approval and to be significant; a reassurance that they weren’t alone in all they secretly carried; and overall, the hope that this wasn’t all their life was meant to be. Their wounds weren’t their eating disorders, secret partners, addictions or obsessions, their self-hatred, anxiety or their depression - these were further breaks that stemmed from an original wound (and often multiple). These original wounds were the deeper, unaddressed pieces of themselves that had festered after years of being ignored.
We all have these wounds. Some of us are facing them, some of us aren’t yet ready. When hidden or ignored, they grow into lies of shame and worthlessness that mask themselves under the titles of anger, restlessness, fear, rebellion. When brought into the light, they are simply broken pieces that ache for wholeness and unconditional love.
I saw that my clients needed far more than a personal trainer. So I dug in and explored what could bring them freedom. I spent time as my own guinea pig - adventuring, learning to play again, connecting - being vulnerable even when I didn’t want to be - and honoring my need for rest (often). I found that pouring into myself and making space for the pain and discomfort led me to exist in abundant joy. Ultimately, this journey led to the healing of my own original wounds.
I developed my wellness coaching around these cornerstones, on the foundation of grace - it’s essential for abundantly thriving. Then I began to journey with people into the places in their hearts where those wounds were festering. Together we brought them into the light and began the hard work of learning to wholly love oneself - both the beautiful and the not beautiful.
This is, in part, why I am a wellness coach.
